ORTHODONTICS

Interceptive and Adult
Orthodontics has undergone revolutionary changes over the past decade. Many new techniques are now available that allow orthodontic treatment to be a comfortable and painless experience.

Early detection of dental crowding, gaps between teeth, jaw growth issues, and extra or missing teeth in children can help prevent more serious dental issues in the future. Our orthodontists use interceptive braces for children to guide their early teeth into correct positioning, which can eliminate the need for braces in the future on their permanent teeth. When your child is young the body is still growing which makes it easier to correct dental problems. A dentist can tell if Interceptive Orthodontics is right for your child by the age of seven. However, correcting crooked and rotated teeth is no longer just for kids, in fact the fastest growing segment of orthodontics today is adults. Straightening and aligning teeth can have a major impact on both the health of the teeth and gums and will markedly improve the aesthetics of your smile.

METAL BRACES
Metal braces are still made from metal but have improved from the ones you think of traditionally. They are now smaller and less noticeable than before. Additionally, the wires being used now are heat activated; which helps the teeth move easier and with less pain.
